Dr. Arlene Basden

Medical Director, Bermuda Medical Specialties Group

Dr. Arlene Basden received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She received her Medical Degree from the University of the West Indies in St Augustine, Trinidad. She completed her residency training in the United Kingdom at Morecambe Bay Hospitals NHS Trust and Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. Dr. Basden was awarded membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 2004. She is the 2nd Bermudian to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2014.
